PROPOSAL FOR SERVICE
1 – ONLINE STORE
We will create an online store where customers all over South Africa will be able to purchase Super Door products. This will be packaged as virtual Door In The Box products and upon completion of the purchase, a customer will be put in touch with a garage door installer in their region, who will deliver and install the door.
2 – PHYSICAL STORES
Door In The Box will be available in physical stores all over South Africa. Customers will be able to purchase a garage door in a store, without having to worry about delivery or transport – they will simply return home with a small box, containing further instructions on how to proceed.
3 – DOOR IN THE BOX
Inside each Door In The Box, will be a QR code. The customers will scan the QR Code with his/her mobile phone and will be taken to a product registration page. On this page, they simply enter their contact details and location, which is then sent to garage door installers within their region.
4 – SUPER DOORS APP
The Super Doors mobile app will link online and offline customers with accredited garage door installers. The installer will have access to the app, and when a purchase is made and installation is required, they can let the customer know that they are able to complete the installation.

Powered by WordPress and WooCommerce, we will develop a functional E-Commerce solution that allows customers to place online orders and pay online via PayFast or EFT.
The online store will then be customised in order to communicate with the Super Doors mobile application, allowing a connection between customers and garage door installers.

MOBILE APP | BRIEF
The SuperStore mobile application will bridge the gap between online and offline customers and garage door installers, by providing a channel of introductions when a new purchase is completed.
The mobile application will run on Apple and Android app stores and will only be available to accredited/approved installers, as per the discretion of Super Doors/Door In The Box. The installers will be provided with an access code, allowing them to register on the app.
The mobile application will integrate with the Door In The Box online store, built on WordPress, using WooCommerce – as soon as a purchase has successfully been placed and paid, a push notification will be sent to all installers who have the mobile app installed on their phones. Offline purchases will be linked with the online system and app, via the scanning of a QR Code that will direct the customer to a product registration page where installation details will be entered.
As the notification comes through, the installer will have the opportunity to accept or decline the potential job.
Once 3 installers have accepted the potential job, an email with their contact details will be sent to the customer who can then contact them to arrange the installation.
If only 1 or 2 installers have accepted, 12 hours after the order was placed, an email will be sent to the customer, including only the installer(s) who have accepted, and their contact details.
Should 12 hours pass and no installers have accepted, then an email will be sent to the customer, indicating that nobody has responded. This email will then include a list of all the installers on the system, and their contact details, allowing the customer to contact them directly.
7 days after the purchase, another email will be sent to the customer, prompting them to provide a star-rating for the garage door installer.
We implement the Laravel PHP Framework for all Rest APIs needed for mobile applications, platform administrative management, and web portals. Laravel is an industry-standard cloud software framework with a strong community support base.
For any web-based applications, we use React which has a symbiotic relationship with Laravel. React is a Single Page Application framework with a lot of flexibility and freedom enabling us to build with maximum freedom to match to design requirements.
For mobile applications, we use React Native, which allows for one codebase for both iOS and Android. This reduces development time and costs.
We use Amazon Web Services’ EC2 server instances. All our data is stored and backed up in an AWS Virtual Private Cloud with access control.
All data is encrypted with stringent security protocols in place. We have frequent automated data backups with rapid disaster recovery measures in place.

We store all files within Amazon S3 bucket storage within the Virtual Private Cloud.
Our servers have Firewalls set up with Malware scanners in place and we utilize Web Server Security headers to protect against cross-site scripting attacks.
Let’s Encrypt SSL Server Certificate – SHA-256 With RSA Encryption
We use AWS Relational Databases. Data is encrypted between application and database transit using SSL.
Amazon RDS encrypts the database using keys managed with AWS Key Management Service (KMS).
RDS encryption uses the industry standard AES-256 encryption algorithm to encrypt data on the server. This includes data at rest in the underlying storage, database backups, read replicas, and snapshots.
We create unique users with specific access rights pertaining to their role and involvement on the project.
